The Braddock Heights Cagney is a 15 inch gauge live steam locomotive built in 1901 by the Cagney brothers for the Pan American Exposition. Today BMRR 999 runs on occasion on a 300ft loop of track in Bill McCutcheon's back yard. The engine is coal fired and currently pulls a single coach and a gondola. The coach it currently pulls is the newer of the 2 cars we own, and the older is currently at McCutcheon's Apple Products and awaiting new trucks to be built. Currently, the Cagney does not run during the winter as we lack the proper facilities to properly fire and maintain the engine during cold weather. During the warmer months, we run on weekends and on most significant holidays. On this website, we will post any pictures and videos of the Cagney as well as some pictures and videos of significant rail fanning trips we take. The website is updated as needed and checked quite often to check if maintenance is necessary. Sometimes runs will be announced on the webpage if they are decided at least 1 day beforehand.
